After building their bot, Bishop in Metal, 3229 reached the semifinals at their Pitt County competition in March on the seventh seed alliance with teams Yeti-3506 and Bobcat-6565. At their second competition at Southeast Raleigh, 3229 reached the quarterfinals, and for the first time was the alliance captain as the third seed, securing their spot in the Campbell State Championship. At Campbell, Hawktimus Prime soared through the competition, and was picked by the first seed alliance, Terrorbytes and Zebracorns. The team won it all, conquering the finals and bringing home their first blue banner! This lead to the qualification for the Houston World Championship.
